This course is ideal for new Managers or existing ones who want to be more effective and more productive.

 

Did you know that most Managers have just one management style, which they use in every situation and with every person they deal with?

 

How effective do you think that is?

 

The problem is that many people become Managers because they’re good at their job. But often that job doesn't include management.

 

They're very good at being accountants, lawyers, pharmacists, teachers, salespeople, butchers, bakers or whatever. They have probably trained for years to do this.

 

Then, one day, there they are - in charge of other people and not sure what to do. Suddenly, they have become Managers.

 

So they do what they’ve seen other people do. Or they just do what feels natural to them. And sometimes it works but sometimes it doesn't. What to do then?

 

This course looks at the people skills involved in managing others. It explores a range of styles to help people see how they can vary ther approach to deal with different people and different situations.
