How to Get More Done in Your Day
How could you use 15 extra days a year?
If you saved just 30 minutes a day by working more effectively, that amounts to 120 hours over a typical working year.
That's the equivalent of 15 working days! 3 weeks!
Just imagine how much more you could get done by saving just half an hour a day.
But you know what some days are like – you set off with the best of intentions but, somewhere along the way, things go off track.
You get to the end of the day and you wonder where the time went.
- You haven’t done half the things you meant to
- You’ve spent time doing things you didn’t intend to do
- You’ve done things which you shouldn’t even have been doing
- You’ve been putting off something you really should have started
- You’ve been interrupted – by other people, by phone calls, by things going wrong
- Something unexpected came up and you dropped everything to deal with it
- You just didn’t really get started all day and now it’s too late!
How often do you get to the end of a day and think, “ Yes, that was a really satisfying day, I really achieved something today “?
This 1 day course is for anyone who ever feels that they could have done more with their time. It will help you to:
- work out what your key objectives are and what tasks you should focus on to achieve them
- prioritise your work so you can decide what to do in which order
- stop procrastinating, putting off the things you don’t want to do
- be more decisive about what to do and what not to do
- recognise what work you can delegate ( and spot the usual excuses people use for not delegating )
- recognise the work you needn’t do at all
- deal with people who interrupt you while you’re working
- handle unexpected events or demands on your time
- use To Do lists in a useful and realistic way
- stop being distracted
The course will be highly interactive, engaging, practical – and fun!
